Damaged Kindle

Damaged the screen on my Kindle. about 90% of the screen is corrupted.

Anything I can do with it?

Considering replacing it with a Nexus 7.

  • If its still in the warranty period, give Amazon a ring. When I did it they sent me a new one.

    Even if it's not in warrant, still give them a ring and ask nicely.
    As they make their money on selling Ebooks rather than the Kindle itself, they seem to be quite prepared to "do a deal".

    if you have no luck with warranty, it is possible to buy a new screen and replace it yourself.
    There is an instructable here in which a kindle screen is replaced by a sony one but the principle is the same with a new screen also.
