I was wondering whether anyone can help?

One of the residents of old people's home I work for, won an item off eBay.

The item is coming from Canada.

it has been posted, on 14 September, and we have been given a tracking number.

The last entry to date was 21 September saying ville st Laurent international item has left Canada.

To date, nothing.

Before they start worrying, how long do you think he will have to wait for his parcel. The size of the parcel is 37 x 32 x 11cm.

Any help would be appreciated so I can reassure him.

Most likely being held up by customs at UK end. Depending how the customs from was filled in it is likely that a card will be delivered by post office detailing duty to be paid plus handling fee that needs to be paid at sorting office before item will be released- id give it a nother couple of weeks.

Just keep in mind he has 45 days from payment to file a claim with eBay/PayPal. So if it isn't here he will have to open a claim to buy him some more time and safeguard his money.

Are you looking on a Canadian site to find the tracking? Sometimes putting the number into Royal Mail's site can give more tracking info.

Thank you Martindow for the advice. We have tried putting the tracking number by the Royal Mail website, nothing.

So I am at a lost where it is or what to do to help the gentleman
