Hey everyone, I am new to the site and found my way to this great thread.

I am very interested in getting involved in this but would like some assistance if possible?

What is cashback? I have seen it around everywhere but dont understand how it works lol If someone could put it in dumb man terms that would be great.

Can someone be so kind to post links to sites that offer things I can do to earn cash etc?

I do have limitations though. I dont have a paypal account and wont be able to get one. I had a claim put in on ebay and I lost the case (When I shouldnt have and it was for £300 so I refused to pay it as the buyer has both the item and my money) So if things require a paypal account no point listing it as I wont be able to do it.

Just trying to get to grips on how you actually get real £ from doing what you do.

I understand the with finding cheaper items in the wild etc.

Im not asking for someone to hold my hand as I will be reading about and trying to work it out but if someone could give me a boost as I seem to pick things up better when im shown a little before hand.

    Thank you :-)

    Hi Brighteyed

Why did you lose the case with Paypal/Ebay ? Have you got a tracking number so you know its been signed for and delivered.Or was it a collection ?
As Paypal/Ebay are really aggressive when it comes to reclaiming money they see as theirs.Maybe if we know the full story here we can help you.But they will not leave it if they think you owe them money.

Debt free and Mortgage free thank you to all for your encouragement and advice

£10 in the bank today from MSing.
And hopefully a couple of people coming to get some more baby clothes, which would mean that the end is in sight for everything that my youngest has grown out of. At Last!! I put it off for so long because it overwhelmed me a bit as there was so much.
I've been selling loads at 25p an item, and have had over £125 so far, and that's not even counting the money from the nicer bits that I'd separated out and sold on Ebay earlier on. So that gives you an idea of how much there was

Just got to invest in a couple of new vacuum bags (we've got about 5, but they all have holes in, and my brown tape patch up job just isn't good enough so defeats the point because the air gets back in!) for the bigger clothes I'm now drowning in after my bootfair bargains a couple of weeks ago.
Then I might actually have a bit of carpet space in the bedroom. I don't think I can even remember what colour it is in there :D I'm sure there's more Ebay boxes underneath everything, so it will help the bank balance as well as my sanity :o

    Morning :)

I been up since 3 this morning so not sure how much i will get done today - i feel like i have been working hard on the earnies lately but not getting much coming in just yet - got 120 items listed on my website yesterday and am hopefully i will make some sales from that, been adding things to ebay too with some ending today, tomorrow and over the weekend so hopefully some more sales from that too.

Have been superpointin daily and swaggering a bit too ;) been negotiating discounts on accounts and sorting things for car booting which hopefully i will manage this weekend :) Oh yes and adding things to selling groups on fb too. Am feeling a bit 'spent' as its probably the most work i have done in ages :P mind you i am organising a craft fair and trying to look for somewhere to live as well! :rotfl:

Todays focus is going to be on paperwork - have some forms to fill in and return to claim back my bank fees, evidence stuff to post off to dla, and finally want to have a look at claiming compensation for hurting myself when i sat down and the loo fell off the wall in the local JBO :o:rotfl: - have been in pain for almost a year because of this though so think i should claim if i can get my head round doing it :(

Wish me luck :D am gonna need it to get through that lot!

Happy earning everyone! Good Luck to you all too :D xx

  • Hmmm, was boozing last night so not sure I will get much done today although am hoping to make it to the gym later.

I have negotiated a pay back plan for another silly payday loan - I swear that will be the last (although I did that last time). Just have to keep telling myself only a few more months to push until I am debt free.

So today I will do some swagging, some praying for bidders on my items, and some surveying.

I don't feel like I'm getting anywhere with this, but mainly due to my own laziness :rotfl:

shopped at Lidl again today and saved 20p on taxi fare home, and £4.98 on my shopping should have been £5 but the voucher wouldn't scan so they had to refund items from my shopping hence the £4.98

I'm supposed to have £60 of facebook sales tomorrow/Saturday but I don't want to get too excited as I know there is a good chance that I will get stood up...

    £68.98 so far!!!! whoop whoop

    Stashbuster - 2014 98/100 - 2015 175/200 - 2016 501 / 500 2017 - 200 / 500 2018 3 / 500

  • Slow month but I'm getting there.

My boyfriend put £25 petrol in my car from his paid-for allowance so I'm adding this as I was teetering of the edge of the petrol light and it means Ill not have to shell out anything til after pay day.

Also found my first outdoors road kill! 20 pence on a restaurant chair. I was well pleased! Plus I was taken out for lunch so didn't spend anything to find it!

So £25.20 to add to my total.

I'll be v happy if its free listings this weekend as I was too tired / lazy to do it last weekend.

I'm debating doing Another car boot this weekend. Any thoughts? Last weeks was def quieter than the one I did previously and I'm wondering if its too late in the season??

PS I don't read every day, what have I missed with all the cheap cheese?!

    £3.20 from Facebook sale yesterday.
    £10 from Swagbucks
    £10 from Consumer Pulse
    and £43.69 from TopCashBack :j

Probably not much money making to be done today, as the house looks like a bombs hit it (or a toddler at least, which I think is probably even messier!)
And there's lots of cleaning to be done too. I noticed the inside of a couple of kitchen cupboards smelling a bit musty the last couple of weeks, so off to take everything out and give them all a good clean out. Fun Stuff :(;)
