  • I just wombled my first receipt! A Tesco receipt with 31 points to be added - do I have to take it to the customer services desk?
Yaaaaay good find, yep just take it within 7 days and they will pop it on, like Monkeynut says just say you forgot your clubcard :rotfl: Waste not want not as they say!

Yep :D Just say you didn't have your Clubcard with you last time, and they will pop them on.
It'll get addictive :o:rotfl: it's when you see a big long receipt on the ground in the carpark, and you have to assess how many people are around, and whether it's worth the embarrassment of wombling it, when they might have used their Clubcard anyway!! Though I womble them all these days when I won't look to trampy :rotfl: I used to only pick up the long receipts where they had bought lots so would be more points, but now I take them from Self Service tills where people have spent a couple of £s on milk and bread! I use them for the Rewards so they are worth 3 or 4 times anyway, and they all add up. Every little helps ;)
Hahahahahahahahahaaha I'm just the same, I get some odd looks, I don't care!I'm lucky cuz I live in a highly student populated area and they all use the self service when buying booze and most don't bother with clubcards (more money than sense obvs!) so I womble their points surrupticiously :rotfl:It's worth it on the booze receipts. Sometimes I pretend I've dropped something if its on the floor :D

I have £34.85 in wages from a bar shift last night aaaaaand £6.80 in ebay sales, not bad :-)
Ohhhhhhh how I have missed this challenge, it's helping to keep me motivated :)

First time looked here, how did i not ever see or think of this incredibly easy but slightly cheeky 'wombling' technique! Genius. Im gonna be terrible!

:D I do exactly that too!! (And I have been known to whisper to my 2 year old to go and pick up that bit of paper on the floor' that he then gives to me, and as 'I'm in such a rush', I just bung it in my carrier bag rather than throwing it away or putting it back down! :o
Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £170
  • Made £3 from eBay. I had loads of watchers on my other items, but no bids, very strange! Oh well it's easy enough to hit relist I suppose!

Need to get on freebay, a friend referred me but still not been accepted a few weeks on.

At the weekend I applied for a Xmas job, not thinking much of it, did the online tests & they've invited me to an interview, assessment centre thing tomorrow. Eekkkk! I haven't had an interview for years & never worked in retail. Getting a bit panicky now as to whether I want the job & want to be going out in the cold & dark in the evenings. Oh well, will go & see what happens! Wish me luck! :-)
