  • A busy (and expensive) few days means I haven't made much money this week. I got £5.65 in vouchers after I checked my asda receipts on their price guarantee site. Some of my ebay money has now cleared but only enough to cover the fees so hopefully the bigger amounts will clear soon.

I have claimed a £5 amazon voucher from doing surveys so will add that when I get it. Another couple of days on swagbucks and I think I might have enough for a £5 voucher from them too.

I really need to get focused again and get some more things on ebay as the pile is starting to take over the spare room. I'm also going to look into music magpie and selling some of my books to see what extra cash I can get from that.

Just remembered about another asda receipt so will see if i get any more vouchers.

Just finished writing a letter to Nationwide asking them to refund the charges they have added to my account recently and politely ask them not to add any more. They can be a bit awkward to deal with re these things but hopefully it will be taken on board as i currently meet nearly every criteria of financial hardship.

It is extremely satisfying getting bank charges refunded I think - feels like a little win on behalf of everyone who has ever been ripped off by banks :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hi fairyclicks I tried to do this a year ago after filling in there hardship templates and they refused on the grounds that I was repaying my minimum balances and had not negotiated lower repayments:mad: I gave up but will dust off the paperwork and retry if you can send some advice my way:D
