New car what's best?

We are looking to buy a new car in a few months. Low insurance and road tax but high in performance. Looking at the A1 any other ideas?

    I love my Audi A1.......a proper little pocket rocket and only a 1.2 engine :)

    Why would you want high performance in this country? I mean, where would you possibly use it?

    TFSI? They're good fun!

    I've heard there's been reliability issues on a lot of A1's though.
    Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
    Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?

    I hope not.:eek:.....had mine since May 2011 and only problem I've had so far is a rattley rear parcel shelf.

    ai tfsi is group 15 insurance so depending on age/no claims may not be too good to insure

    Really is not a very good question at all and shows a distinct lack of interest in cars and a lack of knowledge on how VED and insurance rates work.
