Hi, I have not hired a car in Spain but I have in other part of Europe and the USA and have always found holidayautos.co.uk very good.If you get to thinkin' you're a person of some influence, try orderin' someone else's dog around!0 -
Welcome to MSE. The best way to find answers to questions like that is to search the forum.
Here is a fairly comprehensive thread...0 -
There's loads of car hire companies, and the prices and conditions are all pretty similar, as it's a competitive market.
It's probably best to search a few of the better known companies like Holiday Autos, Auto Europe, Avis, Carjet etc. to see which is cheapest for your particular choices and dates.
Have a read of this article first -Times Online
Check out Quidco aswell for cashback from Holiday Autos and others.0 -

Lossieglen - why are you pushing your affiliate links?
That should be in the referrers board, and people are better off going through quidco, unless of course you are prepared to pay them your commission!0 -
I am just back using the site after years away and I have no idea what the referrers board is. But I will try and find it.0

Sorry about all the others, I travel regularly to Spain and use https://www.carjet.co.uk
Possibly the cheapest, no extras to pay on arrival all inclusive including extra drivers.
Have a look at their site.

Cheers guys.
I'll follow Zebra's advice and check which is cheapest out of those mentioned for our dates, and go via Quidco.
That's an interesting article aswell - thanks Zebra.0 -
I always use Carjet.com and find they are really reasonable, we've been upgraded at least 3 times in the last few years for free, plus with everything all in it makes it worry free. Plus, the car companies they use are based inside Malaga airport so you don't have to wait for a mini bus to go off the airport and hang around waiting, just walk down the ramp, and off you go.
We've found the staff at the various companies they use to be very helpful, only extra is the cost of the tank of petrol and you then need to bring the car back as near to empty as possible which isn't difficult when you've been driving around the Costa Del Sol for 2 weeks.
I'd really recommend them.0 -
You get cashback via Quidco for using holiday autos. Is everything not included in their price?“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0
