Chaning address - car insurance

I've a question about car insurance.
I've only 3 weeks left on my current car insurance. In a few days I will have a new home address. However, for at least one week my car will be parked overnight at the address my insurance is currently registered under.
Does it invalidate my car insurance if I do not tell them that I have changed address.
P.s. there is also a fee to pay to make amendments to the insurance policy, I think this fee would be applicable in this case but I can not justify the fee with only 3 weeks left on insurance.

Your op mentioned approx 2 weeks when you would have it at your new address??
If you breach the policy conditions you run the risk of them seizing on the breach to avoid paying a claim.0
