Could be worn synchro hubs, or a badly adjusted clutch, or something else.

Went through a full service from a 3rd party and passed a 'check over' from the garage - told the seller I wanted to get it done before the sale and nothing came up so confused as to whether its just me !

Engine mounts. Rev the engine whilsy parked and watch the engine move.
Slight movement is OK, But not excessive.
Exhaust loose?
What did this 3rd party check involve? Shine a light through the wheels to
