Bosch dishwasher hose/valve

Hi all,
I have a bosch dishwasher that has an inlet hose that has what I believe is a one way valve at the tap end - looks like this http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTIwMFgxNjAw/$T2eC16NHJGwE9n)ySf7TBQSGlDlQR!~~60_35.JPG
It's leaking from above this valve no matter what I do in the way of ptfe tape so I think the hose has to be replaced. My question is - does it need a like for like expensive bosch hose, or a generic similar hose with valve, or can I get away with a normal hose without any valve at all?
thanks

Have you tried replacing the rubber washer? Where is it leaking from - I'm guessing its coming out the threads rather than out the hose given your mention of PTFE tape - I've certainly had fittings where the washer looked ok but replacing it solved a leak.0

it doesn't seal on the thread so no point putting ptfe round the thread, fit a new washer & don't tighten it too much only enough to seal itI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
I only mentioned PTFE because there wasn't any so it's my stock try-it-first action. Will try the washer but I think the whole olive may actually be knackered
tnx for the replies guys0 -
what olive ? which bit is leaking if it's the hose connection that you posted a pic of there isn't an olive on that ?I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

The one from the cold water feed pipe. Failing that, the one form on the buses0

oh ok thanks for the info, but that's not what your OP said or the pic you posted, so if the olive is leaking on the copper pipe what has that got to do with you replacing the hose ?I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

The hose is part of the Bosch Aquastop anti-flood and leak protection system - (ironic that it is leaking then!):)
The box at the end of the hose contains a solenoid fill valve with the operating cable passing down the inside of the hose into the dishwasher. It will need to be replaced with the correct item.0 -
