  • However, as of today, cc number 1 has been wiped clean! It is £0! :T So happy right now and itching to have a go at the bcard now.
Well done! Its a fab feeling isn't it!:T

I haven't posted much this week - been snowed under at work which was good in a way as I haven't spent very much at all. Took packed lunches every day and didn't go far in the evenings so quite a frugal week.

Today has been busy again - had to work this morning at an open day for the yr 6s to show them what big school is like - no extra pay though:(

    Little things for today...
    • Made a shopping list
    • Done the food shopping at Aldi and B&M - total spend of £15.81 including shampoo, conditioner, handwash, face cream and cans of pop for the week. (Only really needed F&V otherwise)
    • Bought the dog a bargain pac-a-mac from Pets at Home reduced to £3 to try to keep him a bit drier in the yukky weather we now seem stuck in
    • Walked dog 3 times locally
    • Cleaned the house from top to bottom
    • Made lunch and tea from bits in the freezer and an extra portion for tea on Monday after a long day at work
    • Staying in tonight and having a nice bath and watching a film on Sky BoxOffice (£3.49, cheaper than going out or to the cinema)
    • Checked the bank
    See you all tomorrow!

    • checked bank - done

    • looked at ebay seller fees to start selling via our business - done and decided to give it a go
    • started making a list of stuff that I can sell personally via ebay - stuff i no longer use/ doesnt fit and so on - in progress
    • done some home based job (waiting for Monday really to start earning again as already hit target for this month)

    Morning,

carrielovesfanta I love free entertainment from bird-watching!

Yesterday we cleaned everything in the sitting room and bedroom that we're taking to our new home and discovered quite a lot of mildew that had crept up on us. Spend ages irradicating it. I can't bear the thought of our friend helping us move and lifting up something filthy! :(

    Today I will:

#Go to work even though I'm really not in the mood. It's horrid weather out there and there's gonna be a mountain of work waiting. Going to need to tell myself I'm lucky to have a job and it'll soon be hometime. Done.

    #Do some sewing.

#Watch DVDs from the back of the cupboard I forgot I owned. Done.

#Deep clean the cooker without expensive shop bought products. ie with bicarb, vinegar, toothpicks, hot water and lemon juice. Felt inspired by this tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qKtSKRS-Cl4 Done.

#Cleaned oven shelves by soaking in hot water and washing powder. Amazing! Done.

#Charge mobile away from home. Done.

    #Read papers online. Done.

#Stop using kitchen roll and start using blue roll which goes further and is cheaper. Done.

  • Morning  thanks for starting us off katy_ann! Alley how's it all going? We are now in the final throws of the packing - just need to finish off our bedroom, the kitchen and our dresser in the lounge and then we're done! (apart from all the things needed for the week of course!)

    Today's tasks:

    * [STRIKE]all of ^^[/STRIKE]
    * [STRIKE]check banking [/STRIKE] shifted some money for items paid for on cc into savings acc for a couple of days interest ;)
    * yesterday I received a letter from Halifax saying they had reassessed my PPI claim from last year and owe me £16.78 :T and have sent me a cheque :j so that takes my £78 massive overspend on vodafone down to £17ish (received £43 interest on isa I closed down as well) sadly it didn't come through...
    * all meals from stores - leftover chilli as we had a takeaway last night
    * [STRIKE]going to find a pattern for my sewing group and some material or some practice material in a minute[/STRIKE] got genuine matterial so can't make any mistakes
    * [STRIKE]couple of loads of washing and dry on dryers[/STRIKE]
    * go to ex-mils and collect some boxes
    * [STRIKE]go for a swim or a walk and sauna to relax later[/STRIKE] went for a walk along the coast which was lovely! raided the piggy bank and had a glass of vino at the bandstand and listened to a blues band for free :T
    * [STRIKE]film and cider later with oh :T[/STRIKE] cider no film!

ok that's me. Hope you all have a great day. Alley hope you are coping with the madness, its starting to get to me! Re the towels - we have about 20 :o:rotfl:

    ok plans for the day:

    * more packing!
    * going to ikea to look at kitchens :D buy coffee/pear cider while there ;)
    * eat lunch before we go and take drinks so we're not caught short again!
    * roast for dinner, using up as much stuff from freezer as possible! Brother coming for dinner. Text him to say last evening not lunch time
    * bacon sarnies for breakfast
    * sorting paperwork this evening, gathering acc & tel numbers to start calling companies re new address
    * watch Bob Marley film this evening
    * possibly go swimming and for a sauna - if no time for swimming then just sauna!

ok that's my lot. Only 5 days till completion now! :j

Hope everyone is ok, hugs to those that need them and hi to lurkers and newbies ::D

Well, yet another hectic week at work - unfortunately, I made a real idiot of myself on Friday and got upset over the amount of work :( I hate getting upset...I feel so unprofessional.....anyhow, I was glad to get home on Friday evening.....hubby was a star and actually sent me to bed as I was so tired :T

So I am glad it is Sunday afternoon and I have a couple of hours to relax.

    This weekend I have/will:

    • Watching bits n bobs on sky box
    • Aim to have 25 nsd's this month (not including bills such as travel etc) - I am a bit poor this month and I am very determined to only spend £10 this month - the remainder will go towards aat fund :D
    • Hubby bought me breakfast this morning - ms as I've not had lunch
    • Doing about 5 hours of aat homework as this years course is so fast paced
    • Need to make breakfast and lunch for tomorrow
    • Need to shower and have an early night

    • I've paid my aat subscription on my rewards credit card so that's money toward my aa cover
