Doesn't this cost money to join in store? Is it free now everywhere, or just online?

You don't get money off everything you buy at Ikea with it. My son spent over £500 in Ikea on Monday evening - and NOT a penny off anything with the Family Card. It IS limited to the contents of the Family Room area. I'm not sure if the card works for free tea/coffee in the Bistro - he forgot to ask! - but it does state 'free tea/coffee on arrival in the Restaurant' so best to ask first.

However we were informed that the card also monitors how much you spend and how often and then they send you vouchers/offers based on that information every 3 months or so. We'll need to keep an eye on whether or not those are good vouchers/offers.

I registered for a card on-line about 3/4 months ago and STILL haven't received one - son actually signed in store on Monday evening and got one immediately.

I have tried using the card in the bistro and they said it is only valid in the restaurant.
Also re the vouchers i had a BOGOF meal in the restaurant voucher last quater, and i don't spend alot. ( it was only valid approx 2 weeks though which was a bit of a pain)

    Hope this helps.
  • Well even if you cant use it in the bistro! You still free cups of tea/coffee!
    Hope You Enjoy :D

We've had one for a while now and it has come in useful when we got our laminate flooring (tundra) as it gave us 25% off that - not sure if it's all the time but may be worth seeing if you need laminate flooring.
