Gmail problem - i.saveasjs.info

Hi - I'm having problems with Gmail; can't get it to load today. I get a blank screen with a blue progress bar which freezes at what looks like 80%, with a message in the bottom left corner of my monitor saying 'Connecting to i.saveasjs.info.' I've uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and the free version of AVG, and have run Malwarebytes - my PC is apparently clean. So I'm stumped - anyone have any ideas? I'm a techie near-virgin so please be gentle with me :)

That's solved it. I didn't understand the config stuff in that link, but I searched my computer for *.info.* and it brought up a file very similar to the one in that reply, so I deleted it and restarted Firefox - problem solved.

Lol good, glad it's all solved. :)
  • I have had exactly the same thing for 2 days now and just 'googled' i.saveatjs.info. I am looking into all replies. Strange as, IE loads ok but that i.save info shows in IE as well. Only seems to NOT work in Firefox.
Always looking for a bargain :j
