Which is your favourite particular show?
Personally, I think its great to see all the property investor show start to make their way back on to prime time telly now that the crash has finally been consigned to the national dustbin.
My fave was the last episode on narf London:

I like to watch this only when
a) The shows are nowhere near where I live, as this causes me to shout at the TV because of their lack of local knowledge. This was evidenced recently by their considering looking at Slip End for someone wanting a house in St Albans. A stupid mistake. It's miles away and you have to go through a different town, or take a lengthy detour, to get there.
b) I much prefer shows where one likes one type of house and the other likes something completely different, then she goes off crying to parents while he strops around moodily. TV gold.
I'd rather watch Homes Under the Hammer as I like to see a silk purse made out of a sows ear, or occasionally, vice versa. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I like to see old episodes of things like "Escape to the Country," where people who don't know the !!!!! end of a cow from a chain saw pay too much for some old Welsh farmhouse with structural issues.
It was so nearly us! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

I saw that one. Slip End is smack bang in the middle of Luton airport's flight path. Not a good chioce0 -
i love them all. Grand Designs is my favourite. My family is Australian, and its very popular over tehre and theres an aussie version of Grand Designs which I've seen on Sky TV.
I remember an episode of Location Location where Phil Spencer had to find an inner london city high rise pad for a disabled girl in a wheelchair that had won damages through negligence of something that happened when she was born and she was spending something like 1.5 mill on this flat. It was an amazing place they found her.
Not a big fan of A Place in the Country. They never seem to buy the place in the end!:female: Debt-free Wannabe :T Experienced Canine BARF feeder. :grinheart Spaniel Owner :happyhear0 -

I hate all programs about houses.
I hate all cooking programs.
I hate all soaps.
I hate all so-called 'reality' shows.
I hate all shows with Kirsty Allsop, Chris Evans, Ainsley Harroitt...
And above all, for reasons I cannot fully explain, I cannot watch Fiona Bruce for more than 20 seconds without throwing up.
I don't watch much television.0 -

May I add the rent-a-gob Mockney, Jamie Oliver, to the list, please?0 -
I quite like Homes Under the Hammer...although the format could do with tinkering Eg: I don't like the interviews with the new buyers being repeated ad nauseum (yawn).
Much prefer it when someone buys an auction property to actually live in rather than as an investment.Generation Rent0 -
I love Homes Under The Hammer for the choice of music, they always try and find lyrics that go with the house with gob-smackingly bad results. Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!

Amazes me that people will pay £365k for a 2 bed mews flat in North London. Guess it shows people's priorities these days.0

Why does everyone in Homes under the Hammer always seem to come out on top?
No matter what lemon they buy at auction they always seem to make a paper profit!
It's so easy.........0
