I.S proof of accounts

Today I had a phonecall from the job centre about my income support. I couldn't hear well so he said he will send a letter asking for information about all my current accounts and savings.
I'm not to good at filling my statements so am trying to find them now. What I want to know is it just one statement or the last 3-6 months worth of statements.
I know I will get a reduction in income support as I have over the £6000 mark with my current account, saving account and premium bonds. I believe its for every £250 or part, £1 will be taken off I.S. per a week, which I'm ok with. But what worries me he said something about paying back money. All my money is from my benefits.
I haven't been at all well this year so haven't had any big expenses so thought it better to put some money away in monthly saver to cheer myself up at Christmas and have a big spend.

if you have more than 6k, you will have to pay back IS for every week that you have had more than the 6k, at the rate of £1 for ever £250 over 6k
they will want statements for as far back as you went over the 6k threshold, so that they can assess the amount of your overpayment0
