How many gas units....

would you expect a wall radiator to use for 1 hour 45 minutes,convinced my meter is wrong,it used 2 units for this last night.
Just serviced my 20 year old boiler but getting heavy usage of gas.
any help is much appreciated

Depends whether your units are in cubic feet or cubic metres.ac's lovechild0

Depends if it is an Imperial meter(cu ft) or Metric(cu mtr). That could be approx 62kWh or 23kWh. Most are now metric.
For how long was it on? temp of room? anything else on -hot water?0 -

cant really say what the meter is.

and 1 imp= 001mtrs
also another point my 3 digits in red are turning over as we speak and i aint got any gas on anywhere in house

So your meter is Metric and you have used approx 22kWh at a cost of 50-60p. Do you consider that 'heavy usage?
As somebody said your pilot light is still on. I think I read that somebody said his costs approx 50p a week to run.0 -
