Garden Fence

Hi all, just wondered if someone could give me a rough estimate on pricing, obviously this will be extremely rough but a ballpark price would be brilliant.
Basically wanting a 6ft fence, 5ft panel with 1ft concrete gravel board and concrete posts. Running up from the bottom of the back garden up to the top of the front garden (so all the way up) measured at 17 meters i think.
Tried to price the bits and bobs up myself from bnq but just for the concrete posts it was coming in at £350

17 metres is roughly 57 feet - call it 60, so ten panels and 11 posts.
Using Wickes for prices - 11 posts at £15.69 = £172.59
Gravel boards - theirs are only 6 inch ones so you'd need 2 to get the full ft height (is this really necessary?) - 20 at £12.49 = £249.80
Panels - 5ft x 10 x £16.11 = 161.10
If you did it with just 6" of gravel board you'd save £125, and replacing the panels with 6' ones to keep a similar height would mean paying £169.80 instead of £161.10.Adventure before Dementia!0 -
That sounds a lot more promising, i dont know where i'm getting my prices from, or should i say bnq. Sorry for my amateurishness on this but i have never had a fence erected or priced, so im going on word of mouth so to speak. I have a handful of people saying "for someone to supply and fit it, your talking 1500-2000" and then others saying 800-1000.0

Don't go to the sheds - try your local timber merchant. They usually come out a damn sight cheaper, will cost a lot less for the bulk bags of sand/gravel and cement you'll need, and deliver for free.0
