I have just received form: ESA50 10/13 (limited capability for work questionnaire) from ATOS, yet I receive War Pension + mobility supplement at the higher rate.
I thought that meant that ATOS would not be involved, what do I do next ?0 -

The ESA50/ 10/13 relates to Employment and Support Allowance (ESA). The ESA 50 is normally sent if your current ESA claim is due to expire and to renew your claim you must complete the ESA50 and return it.
Providing you qualify for ESA, it can be claimed in addition to a War Pension unless you get War Pensioners Unemployability Supplement or since 2009 have claimed War Pensioners Allowance for Lowered Standard of Occupation.
ESA is administered by the Department for Work and Pensions and ATOS carry out medicals on their behalf. It is a separate benefit to your War Pension and is paid because you cannot work.

ive been having an argument with esa about my war pension they are deducting of us vets been to mp he thinks the law is wrong that it should nt come of us as its for medical purposes he said us old vets should fight for our rights and get keeping the benefit as we deserve it does everybody agree0
