Thanks for the encouragement guys, Yeah suppose it is a bit soon for winning... I don't enter Facebook or Twitter Comps because I can't get onto them in work!! I know very Naughty comping in work :rotfl:

I've been comping for 2 years and have only ever one 1 competition (Homesense tea set). I try at least 30 comps a day and yet I still don't win anything.

Quick question - I never sign up to 3rd party information etc etc. Does this limit your chances????

I'm not the luckiest person in the world but like everyone says - you have to be in it to win it. Fingers crossed a few wins will come my way but I'm not holding my breath.

Keep at it. Just keep entering all the competitions you see that have something you want. Especially the BIG competitions! I was extremely discouraged when I started at the end of June but just look at my sig to see what I have won in that short amount of time. And I haven't even listed my small wins.

I also found that if I just forget about winning, then I actually win. If I'm sitting around constantly checking my e-mail to see if I've won, I'm just wasting time.

Out of interest create beauty how many comps do u enter a day? I am on mat leave at the moment so have quite a bit of time on my hands and am entering probably about 100 a day but nothing as yet...

I enter as many as I can. I can't keep count but I pretty much enter comps full-time. I was also on maternity leave but have since left work to look after my baby so I comp as much as I can.
I want to say I enter 100 a day but it might not be as much as that. Then again, it might be more than that, lol.

It might help to scroll to the bottom of the forums and arrange the posts by Thread Start date if you think you might be missing some comps. I do this and also enter comps as they are posted.:T

i have been a bit slow with the old comps and hadnt entered any from about june and i got 2 prizes 3 weeks ago just turn up in the post. So even if you havent been told you have won there could be a prize waiting to come out to you.

Thanks...I try to enter them as and when they come up but thanks for the other tip about sorting by end date...only started about 3 weeks ago again so still time for that first win lol....was away on hols last week and came back and went through all 120 pages I had missed...managed to finish getting up to date last night...that was from Saturday!:rotfl:

Oh absolutely don't give up! I only really started in earnest about two months ago.

My first win was the Fifty Shades of Grey book (and there was no letter or compliments slip in the package so to this day I haven't a clue who I won it from!:o)

Then I won some coffee, Honeybuns/Tinkers Comp, Starlight Express tickets, some facial serum and was given a goody bag for being on the Womans Own beauty panel and was in the magazine.

Don't get disheartened.;)
