                    Hi
We've just a nearly £1500 of new flooring fitted upstairs and the day after it was fitted I noticed a large crack in the window which definitely was not there the day before the fitting(I know as I cleaned all the window sills that day)I've phoned the carpet fitters which is a local company which has been going nearly 30 years, and they are basically denying they had anything to do with it.There attitude is terrible and they are just arguing with me about it.Of course I don't think they did it on purpose accidents happen but they're not willing to accept that. Can anyone give me some advice on where I stand?
Thanks

Your issue may be that you'll struggle to prove they did it. (In this situation you need to prove their guilt, not they need to prove their innocence).
Might be time to take a hit on your home insurance. 0 0

Well if you cannot prove it and they are denying it then your options are very limited.
 Do you have insurance?0

Sorry but if they don't think they did it what else are they going to do?Don't trust a forum for advice. Get proper paid advice. Any advice given should always be checked0
