Recieved an Email with a virus supposedly from moneysaving expert?

I recieved it on 16th of January, there was an attachment call moneysavingexpert.exe. I opened it, and it said it contains a virus. Anyone recieved this? Hope my computer will be okay.

No Rob....hope your pc is ok now.....I dont subscribe to the emails on here...maybe it would be best to stop the emails coming to your inbox that way you will be safe from viruses.And I have done reading & geography.. too !

it wouldnt have been from moneysavingexpert as the dont attach .exe to emails..omly links. best bet is to run adaware and anti virus (links can be found in techie section stickies)Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!0

Since MSE doesn't have vbulletin's 'secure email' feature turned on, having the 'Receive Email from Other Members' box ticked in options exposes your address like this.
Was that the address this attachment was sent to?
Perhaps someone is working through the addresses exposed :eek:0 -
