    Any credit on Costa cards can't be used in part payment for a transaction.
    My wife had something like £3 credit and tried to pay a £3.49 bill. They wouldn't take the payment off the Costa card.

    A cup of tea is £1.50 - they do ordinary, earl grey and various fruit/herbals. The cheapest coffees and hot chocolate would be just under £2.

    That's ridiculous. I would end up arguing with them. Get really worked up about things like this.

    I registered a card because of the £2, but I do treat myself to a medium mocha flake (with squirty cream) which is around £2.70, every month so it wasn't much effort to get one. How likely is it that the credit left on the card though is going to be the exact amount of the item you want.

    This is seriously open to abuse and have registered 15 cards to family and friends. When registering, add a fake email (dahdah123@yahoo.com or babycomeback@hotmail.com), fake address for details and you can register as many as you want.

    Yes, all you can do with this card is buy a £1.90 coffee, cappucino or hot chocolate. Then buy, with real currency, anything else you might fancy.

    you dont need to top it up to get the free coffee but if you want to, the min. is £5
    Save saynoto0870.com in your favorites, and stop giving companies more £££ dialling 0870 numbers when you can dial freephones or cheaper alternatives
    call your credit card company, tell them that you want to leave, 99% of the time theyll lower your APR%
    Remember when that Bank Manager or Salesperson smiles at you, all he sees is £ notes. Dont forget the motto, "the wider their grin, the more debt your in"

    Is there a limit to how many cards you can use?

    I've just registered four cards (different email addresses) so I've got £8 of free coffee! Will Costa get wise to this and stop people from using the cards? I'd be really embaressed if I tried to use it in a coffee shop and they stopped me!

    you could use https://www.10minutemail.com if you want to register "multiple" cards
