wonderful thing these mobile phones with cameras some even do video.

A quick vid of op's damage and the other driver refusing to hand over insurance details I would be asking for £300 not to get the police involved of course I would still make a claim on his insurance £300 can go to children's hospital

    1. The op never even spoke to the third party, so "refusing to hand over insurance details" doesn't come into it.

    2. The police won't get involved in incidents where there is no injury.

    3. Hardly good advice suggesting using bribery to get £300 out of someone! (Then make a claim off their insurer!). The police would definitely get in involved in that scenario!!
  • Next time, stick a note on their windscreen "sorry about the damage/scratch/chip (delete as appropriate)" then move your car and park somewhere else in the car park, sit back and have fun watching them checking their car when they return. :rotfl:
