Still waiting on my new hub, should arrive today, need online banking access, couldn't get to the bank on Saturday due to hungover electrician not arriving until mid-afternoon :(

CANNOT wait for all this stuff to finally settle and re-set my figures with Payplan, will have far more time to myself to sort these things out once I start the new job next week, will be home nearer 5.30pm than 7.30-8pm

Hub came Monday, finally did the online banking last night so the changes to my standing orders are sorted.

Now need to pester T-Mobile, Orange and Boots Opticians as all of them are taking their DDs on dates I didn't specify..... T-Mobile are doing it 28th-29th, and the others on the 8th.

I get paid on the last working day of the month and ALL my payments should go out on the 1st of the next month... No wonder I've been having bouncing bills and mid-month charges from the bank

    Jeeze, I've left it a while haven't I??

So, even after the stupidly cold winter and spring my gas and electric went down from £30.00 each to £22.50 each as I try to be careful with the usage :D

I had to invest in some flannel PJs and cheap fleece blankets and throws, I slept wrapped in them under my duvet and with my big purple furry throw on top lol

Right now I have kitchen and bedroom windows open all night as it's still 24degrees in my bedroom overnight!! One extreme to the other huh??

I'm getting better about not spending so much on lunches too, I do get staff discount at the canteen, but I only really like their salad bar. I have done really well recently in making my own to take in though.

Well, the February pay review didn't get confirmed until April (due to union issues for the maintenance guys on our team...), so I got my £500p/a increase back dated in that payslip :)

I supplied that along with my changed bills (since moving in Sep 2012) for my Payplan annual review and reduced my payment to them by £50 per month, whilst this pushes my debt free date a long way back, it's better for me day-to-day right now and if I go DRO (as has always been the longer term plan) it will make little difference overall.

Before Xmas my Mum got an inheritance and gave me a nice Xmas present which allowed me to clear my two other non-credit card/overdraft debts, the final £400-odd from the 2008 housing benefit over-payment (JSA f**ked that one up for me, not my fault!) and the £500 remaining from the £1k my aunt lent me to cover my rent etc after I split up with my ex in Nov 2011.

So, with that cleared and my new budget/SOA, I have approached Payplan's authorized DRO 'special advice' dept.

My total debt now is, as of today £13,224.64, I've paid off almost £2,500 since April 2012.
