already using dual fuel: info about switching
Options
Hello there
I have been trying to find out whether it would be better to switch from Scottish Power (no idea which tariff) to another supplier for both gas and electricity.
We already use dual fuel, so price comparison sites don't seem to understand this. You have to put in how much per month for gas and then how much per month for electricity, but I only pay one single bill.
Can anyone directo me somewhere for some info about switching for existing dual fuel users.
Thanks in anticipation of your help, as ever.

Hi aah,
I am not sure if switching will save you some money.
But you can call Scottish Power to check how much you pay monthly for electricity and how much for Gas. They had confirmed the amount to me in my first bill. if U give them a call, they should be able to give you this info. Another way to save money is to move to their Online Energy Saver 3 which has lower rates..
Hope this helps0 -
The best bet is to work out your consumption over the last 12 months either by getting the details off the bills or calling up and asking them, this is the most accurate way of comparing suppliers.0

gas and electricity are seperate entities you will have different usages for both and different unit costs for both0
