Repair Microsoft.

I turned on my laptop this morning and I got a message saying
it failed to start up. Did I want microsoft to repair it. So I ran all that, there was eventually mention of bluescreen,

It seems okay now but I got a flag up saying I had turned my Norton anti spyware off and my computer could be vulnerable.

To be honest, I'm a bit lost. I'm half way through the 60 day free Norton and have a New Norton ready to put on when this runs out.

Any thoughts anyone, I have a PB Easynote and Windows 7

The information given at the top of the 'blue screen' screen gives clues about why the blue screen occurred.

Have you tried to turn the various components of Norton on again?

It might be worth you downloading, installing, updating and running (the free version of) Malwarebytes' AntiMalware, just in case there is a nasty that Norton didn't pick up.

Norton automatically ran a scan and then said 'system safe'

I'll take your advice about the Malware

    Thanks for that.
