Really? I read reviews of the 210 dated July 2006
while the 205 appears to have been launched only last month
But as I said, I am not a techie.0 -
Yes I read this too that the 205 is the successor of the 210..:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin0

I have to admit to being wrong on this boglin :embarasse . The 205 does appear to be a brand new model having CE5.0 as the operating system whereas the 210 has CE4.2.0

Still the chipset for the satellite receiver is much more important than which version of Windows CE it has got...I thought CE was way obsolete now anyway, superceded by several versions of Windows Mobile....0

Yes, the chipset is more important than the operating system, I did not say it wasn't. I was pointing out that the 205 runs on the later system which confirms it is a later model. As for Windows Mobile it runs on the CE operating system.0 -

The medionshop site is a bit of a pain, I can't send a direct link as it's all iframe based. SO...
Click on the menus in this order:
Accessories > PDA & Sat Nav > Maps & Software Upgrades > MEDION GoPal > Additional Map Material.
Information from the page:
Medion Electronics
GoPal Version 1 Seamless European Maps for AE software (UK TMC compatible)
Seamless Version 1 European Mapping for GoPal AE software (2GB card required for fully seamless navigation)
£ 79.99
So I guess you'll be looking for a 2gb card to go with it too!

Wasn't directed towards you at all, don't take it personal...I was merely pointing out that the OS is not of importance...and Windows Mobile does not run on WinCE...It replaces WinCE....0
