End of contract now with EON

I am not at the end of my contract with EON. Todays job is to switch to a different tariff.

Would you recommend any search engine other than Moneysupermarket/ compare the market etc to find a good deal?

I would recommend any of the sites this site suggests, especially with the possibility of cashback if accessed through the special MSE links.

But check, after comparing using one or preferably two (to ensure consistency of result) , you can't get even more cashback from a cashback site (quidco, tcb, etc) first.
  • Well...I switched to NPower fixed until Jan 2014. £30 cashback via quidco.

I would speak to EON first. They have a whole bunch of new tariffs coming out next week and also, they're NOT increasing prices like most of the other big companies this winter. The comparison sites are not giving a true reflection of any savings you could make as there are big price hikes in the offing.

That's what I'm doing. My EON contract finished last week but I'm giving them a few weeks to come out with some new tariffs. If they aren't very attractive then I'll switch.

Mine finishes the end of October but I phoned the other day to find out what was available. Two that were mentioned were the new online saver plus a track & save one but I was advised to wait as the one I'm on is currently the best deal and better ones will be coming soon.
