A use for IFTTT (hotukdeals filter)

Cool tool www.ifttt.com (a rather clumsy URL standing for IF This Then That) can be put to good use for monitoring HotUKDeals.
eg1. get an email when a HotUKDeal matches your filter with this recipe
https://ifttt.com/recipes/59183
eg2. get an text message for the same https://ifttt.com/recipes/59253
Or you can create a customised RSS feed at HotUKdeals at http://www.hotukdeals.com/custom-settings
This may be more useful because you'll be alerted on new, rather than hot, deals.
Any Qs on IFTTT just shout.
