Thinking of changing accounts

I am basically a bit tired of paying Barclays £25/month for Premier life.
I had an issue with Barclaycard which really annoyed me.
I am an AMEX Gold customer and thinking about taking the "My Essentials" to cover most of what Premier Life did for £9.99/month.
I earn just under £60k/year with earning up for around £80k next year due to promotion but not guaranteed just yet. I need an account that I can access using my iPhone as I travel a fair bit, I also want a UK call centre.
What do you recommend and why?
Thinking RBS, Natwest, First Direct, Yorkshire Bank (I'm a Yorkshireman). I quite like the idea of Private banking but I do not earn enough just yet, anything else?
Thanks.

Whilst leaving Premier Life may be the right choice, for many reasons, do remember that they have closed the account type to new customers and so if you do leave you cannot come back to it.0

Like I'm trying to do, look into Child & Co or Messrs Drummond. You're account fee's would run under RBS for example Royalties Gold for £12.50, so there's no big fee like Barclays Premier Life (Which I'm with just now too).
You have the salary to meet the eligibility critera for these banks, which according to their receptionist is 50K. Your accounts would be held under RBS Private, so you would get a relationship manager too.
Their branch is in London, but you can pay in money etc in any RBS branch, so that wouldn't be a problem. Give them a call see what they say, something a bit different too I guess.0
