Halfords Free Delivery

Hi,

I have an online order of over £30 pounds at Halfords, some Car Oil and Spark Plugs but the delivery charge is not free as stated on there site.

Does anyone know why?

Do you live in a "remote" area, they do surcharge certain areas but it you do not find out until way into the purchase process. I complained about the lack of clarity over 4 years ago and they have done absolutely 0 about it.

Where can I get my order delivered?

Products on halfords.com can be delivered to your home or alternative address in the UK. Deliveries to non-mainland UK addresses and certain remote locations (e.g. Scottish Isles, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands) may be subject to additional delivery charges and/or slightly longer delivery lead-times. Unfortunately we cannot deliver to non-UK destinations, including the Republic of Ireland.

Free standard delivery on orders over £30, So what was it charging for delivery?

Maybe like most online shops, Free delivery but it automatically chooses the next day option for you. You need to tick the free option.

How much was it charging and had you gone all the way through to the payment?
