Delayed Paypal emails, anyone else?

Just wondered if anyone else ever experienced delays in receiving an email from Paypal when you purchase something on ebay?
Whenever it happens to me it always shows as completed in my Paypal account but it can take hours to get an email confirming my purchase and somtimes i don't receive an email at all.

I get this in spurts - 2 weeks delays then 2 months OK.0
