Options
looking to buy a new car, as car prices are supposed to be coming down this autumn, how long should i wait for prices to drop and do you think they will?

    Depends if the model you want is in demand.

    No demand and you may get it cheaper. But if there is no demand its probably
    not the car you want either.

  • Interesting. A lot of the dealers are saying that they have offers on new cars in registering before end of this month, but is this right? Will the same deals be there next month?

    How longs a piece of string?

    We are money savers we dont buy new cars. I wait for your £20k car to
    be 5 years old and give you £2k for it.

    The last owner was lucky, He got an extra couple of hundred £

    But thats it.

    Sold for 13% of its value in 5 years. Thats mental.

    Almost 3 years on, If i sold it for 50% of what i paid i would be happy. But i will be keeping this one a bit longer yet.

    So what research have you done? Would you know a good deal if you saw it?

    This is bit like asking when the best time is to buy or sell shares if we could answer that we would all be sitting in Monaco on our yachts.

    So get out there and do some homework.
