She was probably scared of the person following her for 20 miles on a country road trying to get her to stop!

I've seen people with their petrol cap open and attached to the flap driving at 50mph - when you try and point out there is something wrong with their car they speed off.

Then again some stupid bloke indicated there was something wrong with my car so I managed to get it off the motorway to have a look. There was nothing wrong with it. He was just being a w*nker.
    I'm not cynical I'm realistic :p

So it's the drivers fault her car was vandalised and she died is it?

I've seen people on here suggesting that people let down tyres over parking disputes or similar.

You have been warned, and should be ashamed. You know who you are.

Completely agree. I've also seen posts here talking about letting down tyres, it appears a primitive response from individuals who aren't quite as evolved as the rest of us. I really do hope any culprits in this case are found and sent away for many years.

I spotted this article from Tyre Safe... had no idea so many people were killed/seriously injured in tyre-related incidents:

  • I have tyre pressure sensors which alert me at approx 26psi by displaying "warning tyre deflating" and when really low "tyre punctured".

Good idea these will be standard fit on new cars.

  • A colleague gave me a lift to a meeting in his 2006 BMW with run-flat tyres and pressure sensors. I commented on the harsh ride, how I didn't know how he could live with it day to day.

A WEEK later he took it for its MoT to be told that two of his tyres were knackered because they'd been run flat for hundreds of miles (i.e. well beyond their capability). The pressure sensors simply weren't working.

There is no substitute for the human eyeball and/or the seat of the pants.
