Seller copied my title

Some seller copied my title word for word and undercut my price. Meanwhile he's sold 5 of his items while I'm waiting to sell the one I put up, which I know would have sold otherwise. Don't suppose there's much I can do is there?

Umm well I can't see how it matters? People are already searching for the product if they want it, they know what it is...Why is your title special in particular?
Undercut him back if you want a quick sale.
Although if they're offering something else on top, like faster postage times for example, you may find people still prefer to buy off them.0 -
Basically I loaded the title with targeted keywords, which he's stole off me. And any search with my product displayed will now display his and he will obviously get the sale. I guess undercutting him is my only option unless I change my title but I'm not doing that.0

Whilst it is against the rules to copy another sellers auctions, titles are notoriously difficult to police as due to the limited characters available they do tend to be very similar for the same item. There are only so many ways to describe a certain item if you want to get all the keywords in.
All you can do is match his price, but sometimes that just ends up in a race to the bottom. Otherwise sit it out and wait for him to sell out and then list yours.
I often rejig my titles after browsing the completed listings to see what has sold and what keywords were used, and I've had it done to me as well.
Lastly, it isn't always about price, I can very often sell my goods at a higher price than my competitors purely because my auctions do not have any silly terms, I offer a full refund policy and my stars are better than theirs. I've even had other sellers accuse me of dodgy selling for selling more than them and at a higher price.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks, I'll wait it out. I have a lot of watchers, which usually would have ended in a sale by now but hopefully it will sell once this person's out of stock.0
