PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Please also avoid posting personally identifiable information, including links to your own online property listing which may reveal your address. Thank you for your understanding.

It is annoying when the topic has been discussed many times but wanted to make the point that I don't find it easy to use the search facility so perhaps other people don't too.
I tend to agree: search can be hard to use.0 -

No different to Google, it takes a little keyword practice but is a million times better than many forums. Have you found and played with advanced search? Depending what you are looking for you will obviously add keywords, but also use 'search entire posts'/ 'search titles only' and threads/ posts selector at the bottom left. If you are having problems with the search post that and someone will run one for you to work through.
The reason I post that so often is nine times out of ten there is more than one thread on the same subject on the first or second page of the forum, people don't actually have to use the search function just scroll down or check the stickies. Threads where support on a complex or unusual issue is genuinely needed are getting lost.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
