just a note -surveyors guess prices -they also have bad moods and good moods and can be quite wildly wrong! last year i put a flat on the market for 85k. We had three sealed bids and it went for 87.5 k. he morgage surveyor came along and said it only worth 81k. The girl who won the bid asked for a deduction and we said no -she was desperate to get this place but could not understand how a surveyor could be so wrong-i told her to go to another morgage company and get another valuation survey if she wanted the place-i even said i would knock the price of the survey ofthe property-low and behold next valuation surveyor said 'what a lovely place-great value' deal done! Just anoter point -has your survey picked up any major faults -enough to downvalue this much?0
