Praise for Auto Windscreens

Yesterday I got a chip in my windscreen which developed tiny cracks. I rang my insurance company and was put directly through to Auto Windscreens. The man was very polite and told me exactly what would happen. He managed to book me in for an afternoon appointment that day and said he would make sure it would be after 3pm when I was home from work. I received a text message and email within a couple of hours of calling. I then had a voicemail from the technician himself confirming the appointment and he called again to let me know when he was 10 minutes away.
He arrived and covered the bonnet of my car while working on it and spent a good 20 minutes on the chip. Unfortunately the fix wasn't entirely sucessful and he apologised that he was unable to fully fix one of the cracks. He explained that the fix he had done could potentially last for years or the crack may get worse but advised me to keep an eye on it rather than spend out on a new windscreen straight away.
I was due to pay a £25 excess but he said that as it hadn't been a complete success he would waive this. He then gave me a couple of trolley token keyrings!
It's a shame that the fix wasn't as successful as I hoped but I felt I received a really good service from Auto Windscreens and they deserve a mention.:j
