So my Credit Card eStatement came through via email and I paid the balance in full straight away via Visa Debit. Although I have a Direct Debit set up, I wanted to pay it off today, so I've paid it off and wondered if this will make any difference, I understand the direct debit will not come out on the 19th because it's been paid??.
Said it will take 2 days to update on their system but payment went though.

Depends who the card is issued by.
With some cards they will take the DD regardless of any interim payments.

Sorry just found this on my statement.
Your Direct Debit payment of £xxx will be taken on or within 3 working
days of 19/10/12. If you make additional payments your Direct Debit
will still be taken unless your balance is cleared in full.
I cleared the balance in full.0
