Student account for non permanent UK residents

I've just came to England in order to undertake a full-time PhD studies in London. I am looking for a possibility to open a profitable student account. Unfortunately all the offers of students accounts I've seen are due only for permanent UK residents. Do you know any good deals suitable for a EU student who just came to England?

Natwest do an international students account.

Which ones have you seen that actually require you to be permanently resident rather than just resident? Natwest & HSBC do not require you to be permanently resident but do require that you have lived here for a number of years before hand.

When you're trying to apply for the account on the Natwest website you get following condition:

A permanent UK resident student. A permanent UK resident is someone who has been ordinarily resident in the UK for three years or more prior to commencing study.

HSBC has the same requirement. My problem is that I've just came to study in England and I don't meet this condition.
