What can I do with two baths full of hot water?

This may be a lost cause...
I have a big leak coming out of the side of my house, and for a brief moment, running the hot water seemed to stop the leak (it has since started again so was obviously pointless!) so to that end, I filled both baths with hot water.
Now, I have two baths full of hot water (rapidly cooling I suppose) and no idea what to do with it! It's not drinking water. I have to go to work in 20 mins. Is this a lost cause?

We're on a metre so this is such a waste
not to mention the pond that is forming on my patio...

Have you get any large items such as sheets or duvets that could do with a wash?Who having known the diamond will concern himself with glass?

Can you get to the stopcock & turn it off, so no more water will be running?
I'd put washing to soak in them, use them for washing up if you've not already done it.
When my washing machine was broken, I ran a bath, added soap & stirred well & put the washing in & agitated before leaving it, coming back a rinsing.0 -
When I've been waiting for a plumber before, we've used the stopcock to turn the water off at night or while out. Not ideal, but it reduces the water loss!0

I'd be more worried about the leak to be honest; what's being done about getting that sorted? If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0

Plumber has been contactd.
We know what the problem is - ballcock in the tank in the loft getting stuck and causing water to pour out of the overflow - but I can't get in the loft to loosen it. OH can when he is here but he is at work.
I can't even turn the stopcock off as it's down a drain and my arm is not long enough to reach it! I have tried! Damn being so short... And no we don't know any of our neighbours and they are all elderly so I wouldn't feel I could ask them for help with this sort of thing.0 -
If the stopcock is that accessible I'd go out into the streeet and ask the first tall person I met to turn it off for me. No tall schoolboys passing your door at this time of day? Workmen? It would be worth a fiver or tenner, you can't go off and leave that running. That volume of water running all day will undercut the foubdations of your patio and do goodness knows what other damage if it starts pooling against house walls. You can't just go into work and leave it.Val.0

I'm honestly not trying to be difficult, but there is no one outside - we live in a quiet cul de sac and I literally never see another person. Hence not knowing my neighbours! I have looked at some of the nearby houses and they still have all curtains closed and no lights off.
It seems to have stopped - it has been 20 mins since I ran the taps last and it hasn't come back, so I am going to hang around for a bit longer and see what happens before going to work.
Thanks for the advice...0 -
The stopcock down the drain will be the mains one (or something!). You should still have one in the house. It might be in an awkward place, like behind one of the kitchen cupboards. The backs are easy to get off, just 'pop' one edge forwards.
Hope you find it - what a nightmare.Bulletproof0 -
do you have any pots in the garden that could be watered? or a large container/water butt type thing you could transfer it to for future use in the garden0
