  • Hi
The cashier who closed my account asked if everything was ok with their service, I said yes its fine I just want to close my account. I had no intentions of explaining why I wanted to close the account - I mean its MY money, not theirs isnt it?

Anyway on a lighter note the cashier told me her problems and we had a good chat! so I suppose they do have a sort of counselling service although I am not sure who was counselling who.:rotfl:
Oh life is a blast isnt it?
Sorry I'm being quite flippant - its just that I've just retired and I can say what I like and no-one takes any notice.:j
Hope they dont come after my pension next!!

    Hi
    Thankyou fellow retiree:beer:
I thought I had better pm you rather than post on the forum - if I carry on I wll get kicked off.:rotfl:
Id like to say I had had a few tipples when I posted the last message, but I dont drink.
No one told me that retiring could be such fun, and I dont even have much money.
What I do have are many blessings which are coming my way.
Just wanted to lighten the atmosphere - all this money stuff can be very depressing.

Great to hear you are whittling dow your DDs, must make a start on mine.
  • oh I'd had a few when I posted mine(just wandered in from the pub).Like you say retirement's fun,no more getting up at half five is the best bit so far lol. Made sure I grabbed that state pension too,no deferring for me,I don't trust this government any more than the banks :)
    mortgage free 3/10/12:)
