Changing House while on Housing Benefits

Thanks very much for the replies....
I wouldnt have problem to go in flatshare if my health conditions was alright - Ive been flat sharing before! With years unfortunately I realised how better it was for my disease to have my own space (which I know it's a bit the wish of everybody to own our spaces!). The point is, to me is not really a choice but a NEED. ..
Do you think in Rome you would get housing benefit to cover a cost of your own place there while you worked self employed with a low income, btw? And would the local council give you your own place? Just food for thought.
Can you get a part time job while you are building up your business so that you can afford your own place? You should have been informed many months ago that the rules for HB changed for the under 35s which should have given you months to find a new place that is cheaper.
Read the threads by ukboxer - he is trying to help a friend who is no longer entitled to a 1 bedroom place but who suffers from depression/anxiety. Like yourself, she needs to find a new place but is finding it hard. Lots of advice in the threads apply to you.
