Congratulations on the twins! I have twin daughters, they are 12 now but it seems such a short time ago that we got the scary news there were two of them..... It is quite a daunting prospect but honestly it is wonderful having twins, such a privilege. And it doesn't cost twice as much as having one baby, honestly.
You can get virtually everything you need for babies free - just ask people with older babies and you will get lots of offers of good as new clothes, pushchairs etc etc.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -

HI pickle congrats. i just had a baby 9 months ago, up to my eyes in debt by myself and I thought oh my gosh. Even though I still have the debt and it can be stressful, you will be suprised how strong you really are. Has your partner had a baby shower? I had one and it was sooooo helpfull. You write down a list of what you need from nappies to cot to car seat. Put a friend in charged so people dont get the same gifts. (Its girls only usually) play games you can find ideas on the internet ( search baby shower).
If family members or friends had children in the past borrow baby clothes. you will find that parents over indulge in babies clothes and the clothes either gets worn once or not at all. limit the amount of clothes you do buy, you might just find that your babies will live in their baby grows. DONT BE SUCKERED INTO you have to have this and that for your babies. most times you wont need it. I hope this helps if I come up with anything else I'll post. Oh yes look out for bargins on nappies shops sometimes have pampers nappies £1.00 off plus if you use the vouchers that will be £2.00 off.0 -

Congratulations!!
Just an additional thought, my friend had twins when I had my son (8 years ago), and she wrote to Clarks headquarters in Street, Somerset and acted as a tester for them. Shoes etc can be expensive, and although she wasnt paid and had to fill in lots of forms re reliability etc, the shoes were free. She was limited to 2 pairs a year I do believe per child."I will be debtfree":p0 -

Congratulations on the twin pregnancy! My boy/girl twins are nearly 5 now. There are twins clubs around the country where you can meet other twin parents, even when still pregnant, great for finding out if there's any nearly new sales. Have a look on http://www.tamba.org.uk/twins-clubs.php for twinsclubs in your area.
Also the forums on https://www.twinsclub.co.uk is great for info.0
