I'd've been happy with the start price. I hope this has a happy ending!

Well, good luck. Would be nice if you could share some details when it ends, i.e. what you expected and what you actually got!0

It's not that exciting - £15 start price + P&P - I won't be retiring on it (I don't think!) :beer:They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0

I think I'm the opposite - always thinking things are worth more than they actually are!
Good luck, hope you get lots more bids, lucky you didn't do a BIN, lol.I must remember that "Money Saving" is not buying heavily discounted items that I do not need. :hello:0 -
I done it once with a Corgi Mini (not on Ebay, on a forum).
Going rate I thought was about £5.99. Listed it and had umpteen messages telling me they'd take it which made me start to think.
Turns out it was a rare one selling for around £50.0 -
I am doing surprisingly well on 2 things I listed on the FLW as well. Both items were just 'stuff' I found when starting my mega house tidying up session. One now has 11 bids on it and another has gone up to 5 times the start price with just 2 bidders. Both are 10 day listings and started on Sunday, so over a week still to run.
On the last FLW I listed something for £3.99 and it fetched over £40 and I was actually embarrassed to send it and was convinced it would come back SNAD, but I have glowing feedback. (I almost threw it away as well, wasn't even sure whether it was something the charity shop would want)I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Just goes to show - we all complain sometimes about the "tat" on eBay clogging up the boards but some tat is someone else's treasure

My friend asked me to list her Samsonite suitcases a while back.I put one on thinking she might get a tenner for it. Went for £89.
The next week I sold her other (identical) one and only got £16 for that.
Hey ho!"So long and thanks for all the fish" :hello:0 -
I posted a couple of weeks ago about an old film camera and lenses. The start price was £4.99 and I thought I was pushing it at that. When I started getting emails asking for a BIN I declined and let it go to auction and it went for £152 :j0

I had an item of jewellery I bought from a charity shop many years ago for £1, put it up for £3 and it went for £50, I was shocked but happy
