Pemier park charge notice

I received a photographic charge notice from a company called premier park for an alleged breach of T&C's, i made the mistake tof replying to the first stating my intent to not pay as although i wasnt a patron of the owners car park i had actually called in to speak to the manager.

They instantly rejected my objections and have sent me another further letter.

I have now just recieved my first letter from Debt recovery plus baliffs with regards to this.. i've seen the letter chain on this site for premier park and Know i'll recieve a litigation intention letter soon and then a reduced fine letter if i pay, then the letter chain stops on here...

my question is on this final demand letter should i expect

A) no more correspondance
a real county court proceedings letter?

any advice would be really welcome

Firstly Debt Recovery Plus are not bailiffs as far as I know. They are only Debt Collectors, which isn't the same thing. Debt Collectors have no power other than to poitely ask for the money. They can't come into your house and seize your telly or anything.

You will get another DR+ letter, and one or two from Zenith (who are actually the same company) and then they give up I believe.

Listen to the You and Yours topic earlier today, which looks at the implications, and states that these demands have no legal authority - it is simply an attempt to intimidate people into paying, without questioning.

Not that it makes any difference in this instance, for two reasons:
1. It's not yet Monday, and any changes in the law are not retrospective.
2. The legitimacy of such charges doesn't change one iota. They are unenforceable penalties today, and will still be on Monday.

Easy one to answer. That's why the letter chain pics stop there, because it's true.
