I think I read somewhere that an RICS surveyor has to have (indemnity?) insurance, is that correct?

    Surveyors have professional indemnity cover to compensate "victims" in the event of malpractice/negligence claims.

    Mortgage brokers, IFAs, solicitors etc also have such cover.
