could I suggest that if you aren't already using one then a Halti may help here? They are put on the dog in a similar way to a muzzle, but, dogs tend to get used to them really quickly as they soon work out that it isnt restrictive to their jaws. a week or two with the halti and you may find that the dog accepts the muzzle easily. I won't even ask why you need to muzzle your dog because you have children coming to stay.0
