Home Baker Home Insurance

Hi,
I run a home baking business and need to renew my house insurance.
Do I need to state that I run a business from home? I have public liability insurance on a separate insurance policy and this seems to be the only thing that is offered in addition to the normal house insurance policy.
I dont want to renew my insurance and there be say a fire and then be told I'm not covered, but I also don't want to be paying for something I'm already paying for.
Any advice or experience on this would be greatly appreciated.

Yes you need to tell your insurer that you are working from home.
Due to the nature of the business I would imagine that some mainstrean insurers may not cover but you would need to enquire individually with your circumstances.
