Cheapest cycle parts and cycle servicing in south London / north east Surrey?

Hello - like the title suggests, can anyone recommend the cheapest cycle parts and/or cycle servicing in south London, or north east Surrey?

There seem to be loads of shops that sell high-end bikes, but this side of the Brick Lane Sunday market, the only shops that sell affordable bikes seem to be branches of Halfords and Motor World. As a result, whenever I've wanted parts, accessories or servicing, I've always just gone to either Halfords or Motor World too - it never occurred to me until now that the cheapest shops for bikes might not be the cheapest for parts - so I just want to check this.

Can anyone comment?

Thanks.

    Hi dag

Have you tried Edwards bike shop in South London. They have always been reasonable and very helpful whenever I have been in there. HTH

From the information I can glean, there seem to be two Edwards's - one at Southcroft Road / Mitcham Lane, and one on Camberwell Road SE5 that someone got shot outside recently - which one do you mean? Thanks.

Thanks for that - I'm concerned by the fact that brand stock listings are mentioned, because I usually consider this to be a sign of a high-end shop that isn't affordable. They also don't seem to have a web site. But I'll go have a look, and whilst I'm in the area, I'll compare Recycled and Brixton Cycles too, if they're not too far away. Thanks again.

No problem, They are a good old fashioned family firm that have a steady customer base and probably don`t feel the need for a website. They always give good advice and are always friendly. Maybe you could call them to see if they stock what you need. I have bought all my childrens bikes from there as they are very reasonable. HTH
